Washington University in St. Louis is a private research university in St. Louis, MO. Founded in 1853, WashU combines prestige with academic excellence. The school hosts students from about 90 countries worldwide and all 50 states. The faculty on this vibrant, brainy campus include Pulitzer Prize winners, Poet Laureates and National Medal of Science winners.
