Trinity University is a private liberal arts university whose academics are only rivalled by its campus community and traditions. The school’s academic life is rooted in its “Pathways” curriculum, which provides every student with a liberal arts education (and also requires students to complete a physical education requirement). This year, Trinity reignited its relationship with Mexico’s Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, and the university features study abroad programs at the London School of Economics, the University of Buenos Aires and the University of Melbourne. About a quarter of students participate in Greek life, and uniquely, every chapter is local to Trinity University and cannot be found at other schools. Every February at Trinity features the Chocolate Festival, which includes competitions and free chocolate. Small bodies of water seem to play pivotal roles in the Trinity experience: students dunk each other in Miller Fountain on their birthdays and wax romantic by the Kissing Pond.
